Dr Vita Zidere trained in children’s cardiology (heart services) at the University Children’s Hospital in Riga, Latvia, at Guy’s Hospital, London and The Georg – August Hospital Goettingen, Germany. She trained in fetal cardiology at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Centre, Babies Hospital, New York.
She was a consultant children’s cardiologist and leading specialist in fetal cardiology at the Latvian Cardiology Centre for Children, University Children’s Hospital in Riga, Latvia until 2007.
She has been a consultant at King’s College Hospital London since 2007 and at Evelina London Children’s Hospital since 2009.
Dr Zidere is also been a regular speaker at international conferences (Latvia, Germany, Kawait, Egypt).
